Boarding Requirements

In October 2018, the regulations governing boarding kennels was updated.  We have produced a checklist of the additional information required when you board your pet with us.

Your pets safety

It is important that your dog arrives at kennels on a collar and lead for safety towards other customers and their pets as well as your own dog.


Cats should arrive in a suitable and secure cat carrier.


WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY TO YOUR PET IF WE BELIEVE HE/SHE IS NOT WELL ENOUGH TO BE BOARDED. 


WE WILL REFUSE ENTRY TO YOUR PET IF YOUR VACCINATIONS ARE NOT UP TO DATE

WHAT TO BRING WHEN YOU BOARD YOUR PET

The following items will be required at each stay for every cat and dog.

• UP TO DATE SIGNED VACCINATION CARD (UK licensed)

:VACCINATIONS MUST BE GIVEN AT LEAST 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO BOARDING AND FOR DOGS, MUST INCLUDE:

  1. • Canine Parvovirus
  2. • Canine Distemper
  3. • Canine adenovirus/canine hepatitis
  4. • Leptospirosis
  5. • Kennel Cough (NASAL SPRAY)

• DETAILS OF LAST FLEA/WORM TREATMENT FROM VETS

• PET INSURANCE DETAILS

  • Company Contact Details
  • Policy Number

• PET MICROCHIP NUMBER

• CONTACT DETAILS FOR YOU WHILE YOUR PET IS BOARDING

• CONTACT DETAILS FOR A REPRESENTATIVE WHILE YOUR PET IS BOARDING (This is compulsory – You must also ensure the representative has agreed for you to share their details with us under new Data Protection rules)

• WRITTEN AUTHORITY TO BOARD FAMILY PACK MEMBERS TOGETHER

• WRITTEN AUTHORITY TO CONTACT VETS IF NECESSARY

• DETAILS OF NEUTER STATUS OF PETS

• AGE OF PETS

• DETAILS OF ANY ILLNESS THE PET CURRENTLY HAS

• WRITTEN DETAILS OF ANY MEDICATIONS THE PET MAY BE ON

• ANY RESTRICTIONS THE PET MAY HAVE

  • Restricted exercise
  • Lead walk only exercise
  • Own diet
  • No toys
  • No Kongs
  • No Treats

• WHETHER THE PET HAS ISSUES WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF

  • Pet aggression
  • Human aggression
  • Resource guarding

• ANY OTHER INFORMATION REGARDING YOUR PET WE SHOULD KNOW

• IF YOUR PET HAS BEEN ILL IN THE LAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO BOARDING YOU SHOULD SEEK VETERINARY APPROVAL/PROOF TO BOARD YOUR PET.
